What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at Clark Oil Company, Inc.?
We are currently seeking a Store Manager to join our store team. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and with a team to manage events and customer traffic, as well as keeping a close watch on inventory and managing the store's finances. A successful candidate for this position has excellent communication skills, is self-motivated, and has experience in retail management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and motivation to employees.
- Training staff on safety procedures and corporate policies.
- Manage daily operations of the department.
- Direct maintenance personnel for the department with regard to issues such as employee absences and equipment repairs.
- Manage inventory to ensure that the most saleable products are available at all times.
- Closely monitor sales and analyze sales data to predict future trends in an effort to maximize profits.
- Interface with customers using a professional manner; effectively handle customer complaints.
