Position: Office and Board Administrator
We are looking for the first and best person to fill the position of Office and Board Administrator.
SCOPE
The Office and Board Administrator will provide meticulous support for the smooth operation of critical Economic Development Council (EDC) administrative requirements. The major tasks are Board meeting support and internal office administrative operations.
GENERAL DUTIES
1. Coordinate Board and Committee meetings for up to five entities; draft related agendas/minutes and assemble/disseminate/maintain all meeting materials and records. All tasks must be completed in accordance with the Tennessee Public Records Act.
2. Assist the EDC CEO with meetings, calendar planning and execution.
3. Assist the EDC CEO with his/her clerical and expense requirements.
4. Participate in Month-End Close accounting procedures for all EDC member entities. (Execute some basic checks, balances, and reconciliations)
5. Assist V/P of Marketing and Communications with quarterly Aspire investor relations events.
6. Provide support for the fundraising efforts of the Aspire Clarksville Foundation.
7. Other office administrator tasks as assigned.
SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Excellent verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
2. Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft O365 Software Suite, other communications and collaboration software programs.
3. Informational management and organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Proven success providing meeting support and related record-keeping (public meetings a plus).
2. Minimum Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience in relevant field
3. Prefer 1 year experience in accounting/bookkeeping or a related field
4. Highly detail oriented
5. Professional appearance and telephone presence
6. Ability to work well with all levels of internal and external contacts
OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
1. With ample warning, ability to work an occasional early morning or evening meetings
