About this role
As a Residential Skills Trainer (RST), you will work with adults experiencing severe and persistent mental illness in a residential setting, helping them learn/improve and increase the skills needed to live within their community. With a goal of enhancing their recovery/wellness while increasing their self-sufficiency and independence. You will meet with clients daily to provide life-skills training which include, food purchasing and preparation, housekeeping and general hygiene, financial budgeting and safety and medication management and navigating public transportation. This position also requires the transportation of clients within a company vehicle.

What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid GA driver’s license with clean driving record
- Satisfactory results of Criminal background check
Preferred but not required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling etc.)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a mental health or substance abuse residential facility; OR
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with a psychiatric population
