Classic Conferences is an established leader in the corporate meeting, incentives, and event planning industry, with over 34 years of experience, both domestically and internationally. Based in Hackensack, NJ, our boutique company specializes in planning product launches, national sales meetings, POAs, incentive programs, training workshops, and advisory board meetings. Programs from 20-2000 attendees.



This is a full time remote/office position for a senior meeting planner. The planner oversees the comprehensive management of events. Responsibilities include event planning , client and venue management, production coordination, hotel room blocks, vendor relations, contract negotiation and onsite support staff management. Throughout the program planning cycle, you will collaborate with both Classic Conferences' colleagues, and various client departments, serving as an expert resource on destinations, properties, off site venues and experiences, etc.


Candidate must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 35%-40% of the time.


Qualification:


5 years meeting planning experience

Contract negotiation and budgeting expertise

Strong customer service skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency in MS office and event management software (CVENT a plus)
