Our Medical Referral Coordinator works Monday - Friday in our Arlington office in a fast-paced environment processing all new referrals from our medical partners. This requires someone with top-notch customer service skills who can multi-task and work with multiple computer software programs.
This is a full-time office based position in Arlington, Texas.
Duties will include the following:
- Receiving and documenting new referrals in a timely manner from referral services
- Verifying patient medical eligibility and pre-authorizations
- Entering all information completely and accurately into our patient management software system.
- Functioning as facilitator between field clinicians and management team
- Maintaining referral log, with excellent communication with the marketing team
- Utilizing multiple software products such as Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and Axxess
- Participating in in-service and Agency QAPI program
- Promoting the Agency philosophy and administrative procedures to ensure quality care
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- One year of experience working with the intake and scheduling functions within a licensed home health company is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced office computer applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Reliable transportation with current auto liability insurance and valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass criminal and required background testing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
