Competitive Hourly Wage plus Commission & Bonus. Hourly is based on experience.
Hourly and Commission Paid Weekly.
Power Sports Apparel Sales Associate sets up and maintains an appealing retail environment and assists customers with their shopping and purchase experience.
The right person will work closely with the Parts Manager to obtain monthly and annual sales goals set in place by the Parts Manager. Punctual, regular and reliable attendance is essential for successful job performance.
Job Duties:
-Provide excellent customer service to all of the dealership’s customers.
-Help maintain on-line sales.
-Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
-Possess the ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
-Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.
-Point out any sales, specials, or new merchandise to customers.
-Assist customers with their selection of merchandise and offer additional product that compliments the purchase.
-Accept cash & credit card payments for merchandise purchases.
-Keep cash register accurate.
-Notify customers when special orders or back-ordered items are received.
-Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service.
-Conduct or participate in periodic physical inventory of all merchandise (counts, reports etc.)
-Assist with set-up, organization, and staging of special events such as Bike Nights, Rides, etc. as needed.
-Create appealing merchandising displays.
-Ensure merchandise displays are stocked, clean, and dust free.
-Continuously maintain showroom product availability by stocking shelves and displays.
-Maintain & update customer information.
Requirements
-Computer knowledge
-Customer Service Experience (Phone & In Person)
-Must have the ability to stand and walk the sales floor for most of the day.
- Ability to get along with broad customer base.
-Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25-30 lb. of merchandise.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Outstanding customer service skills. Makes friends easily and enjoys working with people.
- Previous Sales or Retail Experience a plus
-Experience with Point-of-Sale & computerized inventory systems or the ability to quickly learn.
-Self-motivated, motor sport enthusiast willing to learn and become an expert on motor sport apparel and gear.
EDUCATION:
-High school diploma or GED.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
