Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative with a strong background in the foodservice industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the foodservice and retail market. In this role,
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for our premium Akaushi Beef - calling Restaurant Operators to achieve sales targets and objectives in the foodservice sector.
- Identify prospective new customers within the foodservice and retail markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular visits, and proactive communication.
- Analyze current product specs the customer needs and conduct product demonstrations through product samples to showcase the features and benefits of our foodservice and retail offerings to maximize sales opportunities and profitability.
- Collaborate with management and the owners to support sales initiatives and meet customer needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Overcome objections and address concerns to successfully close sales and secure new business.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations to prospective customers.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
- Cross train and perform duties in different positions as needed.
- Deliver orders to customers.
- Help with cut and warp if needed

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Sales experience within the Foodservice Industry, Protein Industry strongly preferred.
- Bilingual preferred, English and Spanish
- Knowledge of the foodservice market, including understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close sales.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Travel as necessary
- Be able to lift up 50 lbs boxes
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
