Job Title: OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator
Location: Dutch Fork, SC
Summary:
Clean Harbors is seeking a safety-conscious OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their team. This position offers a flexible schedule with 2-3 weeks out at a time, bi-weekly home time, and a compensation package that includes hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Operates tractor trailer units while adhering to weights and ensuring proper utilization of the units.
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.
- Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
Requirements:
- Class A CDL.
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
- 12 months of Class A driving experience.
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
