HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Regional Health and Safety Manager to be located out of our Baton Rouge, LA office. The Regional Health and Safety Manager Responsible for overseeing and coordinating Health & Safety responsibilities for the Region, including providing technical assistance on Health & Safety issues and questions for our Industrial Services group.

- Oversee the day-to-day safety and industrial hygiene needs for Industrial Services in their assigned region.
- Manage and oversee the Health & Safety Representative(s) located in their assigned region.
- Provide Health & Safety training, program development, and review and work closely with regional operations personnel and management to ensure Company Health & Safety programs and policies are followed and promoted.
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial Hygiene/Safety related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Health & Safety required in lieu of degree
- Strong communication, writing, management and interpersonal skills and experience.
- Multi-tasked orientated and organized.
- Ability to recognize and recommend appropriate safety precautions for a wide variety of situations and hazards
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, etc.
- Practical experience in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, safety engineering, fire safety or safety engineering
- Travel 25% - 50%
