Relay Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment and control systems
- Perform function testing of substation control circuits on relay panel, transformers & circuit breaker changeouts.
- Test and perform other electrical maintenance activity within the plant environment needed
- Role covering Texas, must be flexible to travel.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, protective relays, and control panels
- Familiarity with relay testing equipment (e.g., Doble 6150, Omicron) and relay test software
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, protection, and control diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Travel within Texas may be required based on site locations
