Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company is hiring a Teller Operations Supervisor. This full-time Lead Teller position will work primarily in the Garner Office. This position is primarily responsible for the overall supervision of the teller area which includes managing direct reports, processing teller transactions, providing customer service, scheduling, and any other duties required to assure the highest quality in the operation of the teller area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greets clients, answer telephone with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness.
- Provides direction and supervision of teller staff; prepares the monthly teller work schedule, including scheduling requests and changes.
- Assists with training new employees, and on-going training and performance coaching as needed. Identifies training opportunities and works with management to plan and execute training.
- Processes teller transactions for branch; responsible for generating reports.
- Provides bank customers with information about their accounts from available resources.
- Cross-sells bank products when applicable to benefit the customer. Maintains current knowledge of bank products and service lines in order to effectively direct customers.
- Assists in other areas as needed to support the overall performance of the business and service to customers.
Typical work Schedule:
- Monday- Friday varying hours between 7:30 AM – 5:15 PM
- Saturdays 7:45 AM - 12:00 Noon approximately every other Saturday
- Candidates will be expected to be able to be flexible with scheduling based upon the needs of the Bank.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred
- Two or more years of experience in accounting, banking or financial services is preferred.
- Proficient in PC usage and standard office applications (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook).
- Ability to work well under the stress of deadlines and changing priorities is required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
