What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Operator - Molding position at Clearfield Metal Technologies?

2nd Shift

Monday through Friday

3pm-11pm

$14/hr base $0.50 shift differential


Molding Department - Entry Level

  • Putting material in hoppers
  • Handling  / placing product on appropriate skids / trays as described in control plans
  • Visually inspect parts for defects (excessive burrs, chips, etc…)
  • Inspect parts as necessary per control plans
  • Stop equipment immediately in the event that non-conforming product is being produced
  • Notify supervisor of any problems
  • Complete appropriate hold tags as necessary
  • Place product in hold area if necessary
  • Complete daily production reports as required
