We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in Greensboro, NC. The Production Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and demonstrated leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure timely completion of orders while meeting quality standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Train, mentor, and motivate production team members to achieve performance goals. • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review. • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall productivity and performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics recycling or related industry.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Work Environment: The role is on-site at our manufacturing plant in Greensboro, NC.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
