Clearwater, Florida - Nationally recognized Cardiovascular Clinical Research Team seeking Clinical Research Assistant
Duties:
- Assist Clinical Research Coordinators with the management of clinical research studies involving investigational cardiac devices and drugs in the office and hospital settings
- Draw blood from patients; take vital signs
- Process & ship human specimen samples
- Enter data into electronic databases and clinical trial management system
- Screen cardiology patient database for qualified subjects
- Prepare study visit documents and assist with document organization, filing, archiving
- Receive and manage inventory of Investigational Drugs and Devices
- Assist with Regulatory documents
- Contact patients and schedule visits
Requirements:
- Florida Medical License/Certification Preferred (ex. LPN, MA, CNA, PCT)
- Associate Degree Preferred
- 1 Year working in a clinical setting with patients; Cardiology and/or Clinical Research experience preferred
- Phlebotomy Skills - excellent
- Computer Skills - excellent
- Verbal & Written Communication Skills - excellent
- Ability to work well with a team as well as to work independently on projects and prioritize workflow
- Ability to learn quickly, read and understand complex protocols, follow very detailed directions and multi-task
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
