Housekeeping Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION | SUMMARY:
Maintain the housekeeping and upkeep of University buildings including but not limited to student housing and common areas, classrooms, offices, bathrooms and banquet facilities. Perform custodial tasks-waste removal and recycling.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform custodial functions as necessary to maintain clean buildings
- Respond to requests and support University staff/students/customers in a timely manner
SUPERVISES: NONE
Supervised by: Housekeeping Manager
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and off-hour shifts and be willing to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Handling the physical demands of an active position
- Custodial background preferred

Salary : $35,000 - $38,400
