General Summary of the Position
The Plant Manager will manage the daily operations of the facility including management of all plant personnel. You will lead, manage, and be accountable for the plant operations. The Plant Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate daily operations, inventory, and quality control. He or she will also ensure company policies and procedures are always followed by overseeing all levels of staff activity and performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (following are accountabilities included but not limited to):
- Obtain and understand all documentation for making batches. Ensures correct ingredients are used for each batch
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching for direct reports
- Manage attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Ensure employees operate equipment (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts, etc.) safely
- Monitor raw material usage on each blend are added correctly with right weights for Quality Control
- Ensure all raw materials returned to inventory have the right quantity and information on containers and containers are in good condition
- Refers issues and/or problems to Regional Manager
- Communicate with material handlers/truck drivers when materials are needed, and batches are ready to load
- Complete all paperwork and batch documentation in a timely manner
- Observe safety requirements set forth by the company
- Always act in the best interest of Clements Fluids and adhere to all Clements Fluids policies at all times
- Behave in a professional manner at all times while representing Clements Fluids and completing job duties
- Performs other related duties as required.

Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or any combination of education and experience totaling 5 years, with minimum of 3 years in a direct supervisory or management role.
- Experienced in field operations, with technical knowledge of oilfield chemicals and services.
- Working knowledge of best practices for HSE, quality assurance and control, and DOT compliance.
- Proficient using a computer with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Work Context
- Based out of Midland, TX but travel throughout Permian is required.
