Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for anOrder Management Representative at our East Chicago, IN office. As an Associate Order Management Representative at Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, you will be part of a team that is directly responsible for the entry and processing of variedcustomer purchase orders. This position is highly focused on data entry throughput, and reliant on accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Understand customer purchase order, contract, and/or part specification sheet requirements and how the information is applicable to the production of the steel
- Enter orders using appropriate technologies into various entry systems
- Review and check orders for discrepancies and/or errors, updating where appropriate
- Develop knowledge of internal business processes and systems
- Process customer order changes that impact themanufacturing/processingor shipment of the steel
- Review and resolve order issues with internal stakeholders
- Understand specific production plant capabilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant work experience or a bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge ofcomputersand Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate time management and organization skills
- Effectively communicates with team internally and externally
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Preferred Qualifications:
- High volume order entry/processing experience
- Knowledge in SAP or other ERP Systems
