What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator position at ClientMind Recruiting Inc.?
Clientmind Recruiting is searching for an Systems Administrator for a rapidly growing technology company based in Greenbelt, MD.
This is a hybrid position and will require onsite work 3x per week. There may be additional onsite work to troubleshoot issues with computers, networks, and to help onboard new employees.
The selected candidate MUST be clearable and an existing security clearance is a plus.
Required experience:
- Experience with system administration and an interest in designing/implementing security controls in DoD or DoD contractor environments (NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and/or CMMC)
- Management of Microsoft 365 cloud platform environments including Azure, Entra ID, Defender, Endpoint Manager, Exchange, and Teams/Sharepoint/Onedrive
- Good understanding of networking and network security including firewalls (pfSense preferred), VPN's (OpenVPN preferred), WiFi, VLANs/network segmentation for both security and performance.
- Knowledge of virtualization including on-prem/desktop (VMWare and Docker) and cloud based (Azure)
- Experience with setup, maintenance and troubleshooting on both the Windows and Linux platforms including DISA STIG implementation
- Good understanding of backup, disaster recovery, incident response processes.
- Good communications skills, time management, record keeping, and detail oriented.
