What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Manager position at Climatech?

Position Summary: Maintain quality control objectives that align with corporate policies, goals, and monthly metrics. Coordinate and support these objectives with policies and procedures, in cooperation with plant and production management to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1.) Ensure product compliance with plant quality systems and customer requirements.
2.) Assist in various training methodologies with personnel to maintain product compliance.
3.) Direct involvement with initial Developments, FAIRS, PPAPs and maintenance of associated product quality books.
4.) Liaison with developers and tool makers on new product development.
5.) Address customer concerns with respect to product quality effectively and timely.
6.) Address supplier quality issues effectively and timely.
7.) Maintain SCAR and NCMR Logs that support quality metrics.
8.) Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications, to determine present capabilities and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
9.) Establish relationships with major customer’s quality departments to facilitate a positive customer climate.
10.) Evaluate the capabilities of the quality staff and establish development plans for each individual. Provide ongoing feedback to employees including formal evaluations.
11.) Responsible for maintaining and improving the quality system in the plant within the ISO framework
