POSITIONS SUPERVISED: NONE ___________________________________________________________________________________
POSITION PURPOSE: Self-directed / go-getter who is motivated by achieving sales goals as set forward by the company. This sales role is within the home appliance and furniture industries representing Climatic Home Products and our manufacturing partners.

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE:
1. Relationship Building
A. Face to face and phone sales presentations
B. Place, expand and grow represented brands in customer base within territory
C. Review merchandising program and step selling with customers
D. Training / create sales presentations / attend buy fairs
E. Attend dealer events / private sales / develop promotional activities
2. Account Management
A. Maintain damage claims / credits completed within company policies
B. Liaison between the company and brands we represent
C. Return calls, text, and emails in a timely manner - both internal and external
D. Manage open orders reports for timely shipments within company policies
3. Product & Inventory
A. Knowledge of the brands we represent
B. Understand inventory levels to sell what we have in stock
C. Help forecast product needs with upper management upon request
D. Monitor incentive programs and recommend changes where needed to stay competitive
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
1. Quota attainment monthly
2. Dealer satisfaction by promptly handling dealer issues
3. Holding effective training meetings
4. Prospecting and opening new dealers
5. Submitting required reports in required time

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: BS degree from accredited college or equal experience preferred, but not required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Appliance & Furniture Industries / Sales in Distribution / Independent Retail channel
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: 2 years
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strategic Selling, Account Development, Sales Closing, Time-Management,
COMPUTER SKILLS: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:
REPETITIVE MOTION: Daily vehicle travel within assigned territory / over-night travel
TALKING: Presentation skills and communication skills
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITES: Normal eyesight needed
AVERAGE HEARING: Normal hearing needed. Listening to customer issues a must.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Must have the ability to work long hours and attend dealer functions / sales events during the evenings and weekends.

WORKING CONDITIONS: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions. Must have and maintain a working / good condition vehicle and current driver license.
MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION: Understanding of the appliance industry, and with assigned accounts within your territory. Knowledge of the competitive landscape needed.
REASONING ABILITIY: Basic reasoning skills – Problem solving skills – Relationship building skills a must
MATHMATICS ABILITY: Basic math skills a must along with the understanding of how to calculate margin and resell pricing
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Fluent English a must, bi-lingual a plus
