Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalency (required). Certificate or Associate’s degree in Electronics or a related field (preferred)
- Experience: 2 prior years calibration or electronic repair experience (preferred)
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to rent a car (required)
- Ability to travel 50% or more (required)
- Ability to present the company in a professional manner during all interactions (required)
- History of outstanding attendance and reliability
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent English and math skills
- Good credit history and ability to charge travel expenses, which will be reimbursed by the Company upon return (required)
- U.S. work authorization (required)
- Conduct calibrations according to written procedures on the customer’s site
- Complete test and calibration documentation
- Provide customer support by phone, email, or face-to-face
- Comply with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements
- Maintain unit history documentation
- Provide manager with month-end summary of jobs
- Make sure measurement and test equipment in work area has a current calibration and is in proper working order; report all variances to Q.A. for correction
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those affecting safety and relations with other employees, as well as job related procedures, such as correctly recording job completions and filling out parts requisition forms
- Write up all non-conforming products according to current NCR procedures.
- Must follow procedures established in compliance with ISO 9001
- Other duties as assigned
Successful Candidates must be able to perform the following:
- Ability to type and work efficiently on a computer
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Sitting or standing for extended periods is required
- Ability to type 40 wpm
