Responsibilities
- Assess and plan patient care according to individual needs and preferences
- Delegate tasks and assignments to other members of the healthcare team as needed
- Respond to emergency situations and life-threatening situations appropriately
- Document patient care activities and outcomes according to standards of care and practice
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Requirements
- Current Virginia License as a Registered Nurse
- No previous clinically related nursing experience required; completion of general orientation program within 30 days of hire date
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
