Seeking a warm, enthusiastic, friendly administrative assistant who enjoys working with a variety of tasks in a supportive, team environment within a pediatric, human services field.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Process various reports using Microsoft Word
- Schedule appointments with clients
- Gather, track and collate documentation for clients
- Communicate with therapists and evaluators as needed
- Process paperwork accurately for new staff
- Maintain client files, processing incoming paperwork accurately for each client
Requirements:
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience in an administrative position with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel. The ideal candidate must possess excellent organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills; must also be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 2- or 4-year degree preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate appropriate professional judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and learn quickly, while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Capable of working independently with little supervision
- Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
