This 250-bed hospital is located just North of Los Angeles. It serves residents from Santa Clarita Valley to Lake Los Angeles. This recently improved Medical Center now features a Rehabilitation Institute, inpatient and outpatient surgery, a large STEMI Receiving Center, a Center for Wound Care, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. The Director of Labor and Delivery will oversee the hospital’s Family Birthing Center, which offers a breadth of Women’s services including Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, Prenatal Care, and Family Planning. This unit has multiple birthing rooms and is staffed with a talented team of Labor and Delivery RNs dedicated to providing exceptional care to all patients.
The Director of Labor and Delivery will be accountable for the clinical supervision and administrative management of the Family Birthing Unit in accordance with organizational and departmental goals. They will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of professional nursing care, and will help lead a competent team of Birth Center Charge RNs and other staff by exhibiting excellent leadership and organizational skills.
