What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afterschool Latchkey Aide position at Clinton Community Schools?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Childcare, daycare, summer camp or child related work experience
- Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA), or Associate Degree in an Early Child Development related field is preferred
- Ability and willingness to work in a team setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, families and community
SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Assist in the application of developmentally appropriate activities and materials recommended for afterschool instruction and supervision
- Engage and assist in all group activities with students
- Ability and willingness to serve in a team-centered environment
- Support the daily needs of the afterschool program, which effectively develops children's interest and abilities
- Establish positive relationships with students, families and community
- Other duties as assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Hours are 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Emplloyment is by a third party (EDUStaff)
Salary : $31,100 - $39,400
