Retail Store Manager Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily operations, achieving established business goals
- Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees to ensure the store is always properly staffed
- Provide continuous staff training and development
- Motivate and direct store team to maximize productivity and profitability, communicating daily and weekly store goals
- Promote the highest level of customer service through coaching, training, and role modeling
- Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards daily
- Uphold all operational policies and procedures
- Buy gently used clothing and accessories to meet company standards
Retail Store Manager Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous Store Manager experience in retail, restaurant, or other fast-paced environments
- Strong people management skills
- Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and impeccably honest
- Strong skills in customer service, communication, organization, and time management
- Experience in women’s fashion/clothing retail
