Position Overview:
Strong experience with next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto preferred, but experience with any next-gen firewall is acceptable).
Solid knowledge of configuring and managing Cisco switches and routing protocols (especially OSPF and BGP).
Experience with network management tools (e.g., ISE, Panorama); automation experience is a plus but not required.
Understanding of networking fundamentals, including subnetting. Operational Responsibilities:
Support and maintain network infrastructure across three affiliates, including lifecycle projects, new site installs, switch/firewall replacements, and incident response.
Participate in on-call rotation, responding to NOC calls and potentially being on-site at the data center as needed.
Handle compliance duties, including NERC CIP requirements and associated training. Experience & Soft Skills:
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates showing commitment (not frequent job changes).
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and learn quickly.
OT (Operational Technology) experience is a significant plus.
Ability to handle projects independently and work well within a team.
