What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Program Specialist position at Clyde Malone Community Center?
The Malone Center invites applications for the position of Youth Program Specialist at its location in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Youth Program Specialist is responsible for providing a safe, positive, developmentally appropriate learning environment for kindergarten through eighth-grade students in the Out of School program.

Pay starting at $14/hr dependent on experience.
Education/Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated experience serving children and families of marginalized communities.
- Ability to develop rapport with diverse populations.
- CPR/First Aide certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Food Handler Permit or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Complete “Safe Kids Buckle Up” program within 60 days of hire.
- Complete Mandated Reporter training within 60 days of hire.
- Valid Nebraska driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Pre-employment background checks and fingerprinting.
