WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A FRONT WAITER/SERVER
- Greets new parties and cordially “welcomes” guest to the restaurant
- Informs the guest of delicious menu choices and makes suggestions
- Relay orders to bar and kitchen using point-of-system (POS)
- Anticipates the guest needs and responds appropriately
- Establishes a friendly professional rapport with the guest
- Busses table when meal is completed and prepares the table for the next course
- Totals and presents bill, accepts payment, cashes out the check and makes change
- Problem solves guest needs with courtesy, dignity and respect
- Extends closing greetings to guest as they leave thanking them for their patronage
