Overview
One of our clients is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial records and ensure accurate, up-to-date accounting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
This position will be based in Blue Bell, PA.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
- Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and reimbursements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and forecasting
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documents
- Prepare and file sales tax, business filings, or other compliance documents (as applicable)
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters
- Assist CPA with year-end closing, audits, and tax preparation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop)
- Proficiency with MS 365
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with payroll processing
- Experience in the software industry
- Certification such as QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Bookkeeping Certificate
Working Conditions
- Part-time: Approximately 1-2 days per week
- Hybrid role - 1 -2 days per week on-site
- Occasional deadlines requiring flexibility
