What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveyor Crew Chief position at CMT Technical Services?
CMT Technical Services (formerly PEPG Consulting, LLC) has an immediate opening for a Surveying Crew Chief to Perform daily surveying and / or staking tasks as directed by the Survey Coordinator.
Duties and responsibilities
- Training and oversite of rodman
- Perform daily surveying and / or staking tasks as directed by the survey coordinator
- Maintain client relationships and ensure assigned work orders are complete as directed and that clients are both informed and aware of our daily progress on site (check in / out)
- Keep and maintain daily journals of work and hours for both the chief and rodman
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and in proper working order
- Exhibit an excellent working relationship with company employees and clients
Qualifications
Education : High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to understand and perform written instructions, procedures, and calculations
