Responsible for testing products and/or systems in a lab, office, manufacturing, and/or field environment.
- Write test plans, conduct tests, and document results as required by engineering or design teams.
- Develop and maintain operational and technical knowledge of the businesses product line.
- Provide input on product improvement opportunities.
- Support the development and maintenance of testing processes, methods and practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams on a variety of items, including engineering specifications, drawings, manuals, processes, or bill of materials.
- Work with internal teams and external sources to obtain and communicate data relative to engineering requirements.
- Lead or participate in department improvement activities.
- Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions.
- May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
- Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a field related to specific position is preferred.
- 2 years’ experience ina related position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical test procedures and use of test equipment.
- Knowledge of HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) procedures is preferred.
- Well-developed problem-solving techniques.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Team player who is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.
- Above average math skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
- Travel may be necessary, based on position.
