We are actively seeking a Manufacturing Area Manager to join our team in Fargo. In this role you will be responsible for planning, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing activities of a specific area. The manager ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.
- Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature.
- Follows established procedures and drives continuous improvement in the plant's manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, paint and/or assembly.
- Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
- Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
The annual salary for this role is $91,125-$121,500 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with weld/fab
- OR Associates degree plus 8 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with weld/fab
- OR High School Diploma/GED plus 10 or more years of supervisory experience, including experience with weld/fab
