- Responsible in daily processing of cash for commuter bus line runs
- Data entry for all commuter runs
- Processing daily bank deposit
- Daily recording of check payments
- Responsible for Accounting filing system
- Reconciling monthly credit cards and petty cash
- Assist daily with incoming/outgoing mail
- Ordering of all office supplies
- Monitoring EZ pass usage
- Weekly payment follow-ups
- Assist in special projects as assigned by Department Supervisor
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties to support the accounting department
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 yrs. related experience and/or training
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Troubleshoot & multi-task
- Communicate effectively with customers & other team members
- Perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
- Operate in a fast-paced environment under substantial pressure
- Maintain attention & concentration for extended periods of time
- Work with minimal supervision
- Planning, organizing, accuracy and prioritizing to meet deadlines
- Flexible, adaptable, and team oriented
- Pleasant telephone manner
