Job Title: Associate Manager, Visual Merchandiser (West Coast)
Primary Purpose: The Associate, Visual Merchandiser is a creative and action-oriented individual who is responsible for implementing and training the North America Visual Merchandising strategy for stores and wholesale.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute seasonal concepts, windows & floor-sets
- Partner live or via Zoom with key locations to ensure flawless execution of floor-sets
- Review photos of remaining locations and provide actionable feedback
- Visit stores to assist teams in remerchandising and elevating the presentation
- Adjust stores based on assortment, top sellers, current weather, and local client
- Facilitate VM training for District Managers & stores
- Develop and motivate a visual point person in each store
- Comparison shop competitors visual merchandising concepts
Skills and Abilities Required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to give concise and actionable feedback to various levels
- Ability to travel to different cities/stores
- Strong knowledge of design and fashion trends
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to five pounds, maneuver stores and at times lift and carry up to fifty pounds
- Ability to execute at a fast pace
Education and Experience Required
- Must be proficient in supporting programs, such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SketchUp
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a corporate setting and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience in a retail setting
- Strong preference for candidates to be located on the West Coast/California area or open to relocating
