Position Description:(primary functions)
Minimum Requirements:
Applicant must be an advanced-EMT or paramedic with teaching experience. Must have current, unrestricted credentials with national registry of EMTs (NREMT), and State of Mississippi. Must have current basic life support-healthcare provider certification as provided by American Heart Association. Minimum 4 years clinical and teaching experience in the Emergency Medical Services field.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach the Emergency Medical Technician program in accordance with national EMS education standards
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for the students
- Maintain all student grades, attendance
- Provide to the clinical coordinator any lesson plans, outlines
- Maintain responsibility for any college-owned property provided
