Coast Veterinary Clinic in Morro Bay is looking for a full time RVT or Veterinary Assistant to complement our dedicated staff of professional, compassionate, and fun-loving veterinary team members. We are a fully equipped small animal hospital with complete in-house lab equipment (Idexx suite), digital radiography, ultrasound, and dental radiography. Candidates should possess strong leadership skills, superb client and staff communication standards, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. We are searching for an individual with top-notch veterinary technical skills including, but not limited to, canine/feline dentistry, surgical assistance, anesthesia fundamentals, radiology skills, performing venipuncture for running in-house and ordering reference lab work, and medication knowledge including proper administration.
Our future team members will possess the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while utilizing their talented skills for the well-being of our patients. These positions require someone who can work in an efficient manner, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and demand of themselves uncompromising patient care. A strong willingness to continually learn while ensuring hospital standards of care are being met is an absolute must.
RVT’s must be currently licensed with the state of California and skilled Veterinary Assistant candidates ideally will have prior experience.
The ideal full-time candidate would work 4, 10-hour shifts per week, leaving plenty of time to focus on their health and well-being while out exploring what the beautiful area of the Central Coast has to offer.

Coast Veterinary Clinic is located on the beautiful Central Coast in Morro Bay, CA. The clinic is open from 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday with no after-hours emergency shifts. We are currently closed weekends. However, in the future there may be a need to work rotating Saturday shifts.
