Coastal Cancer Center is looking for an experienced Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to work with a team of oncology physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants along with other MAs and LPNs to facilitate patient care in a clinical environment. This position requires a high degree of responsibility, accuracy, and clinical medical assistant skills.
Required Experience:
- Direct patient care
- Experience with venipuncture and blood collection skills
- Direct experience working one on one with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Ability to administer injections, obtain vitals and assist providers during procedures
- Solid working knowledge of medical records (labs, pathology, diagnostic imaging, reports) and electronic health information systems
- Experience with billing and diagnosis codes
- Coordination with schedules, appointments, referrals, and prescription renewals
