What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weatherization Crew Member position at Coastal Community Action, Inc.?
The goal of the Weatherization Assistance Program is to help qualified low income households reduce the cost of heating and cooling their home. This is accomplished by increasing the energy efficiency of their home while at the same time improving their overall health and safety. Each year, more than 3,000 families benefit from the program statewide.
The Weatherization Crew Member will ensure the proper installation of weatherization materials.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years related experience and/or training in general construction.
- Must have completed or be able to satisfactorily complete the Whole House Weatherization Training Certificate within the first six months of employment.
