Coastal Health is searching for a motivated Physician Credentialing Coordinator to join our growing team.

Essential Functions:
· Manage submission and completion of provider enrollment applications
· Perform tracking and follow-up to ensure provider numbers are established timely and accurately
· Understand specific application requirements for each payer including pre-requisites, forms required, supporting documentation (DEA, license, CV, etc..) and regulations
· Maintain documentation/reporting (regarding enrollment)
· Retain records related to completed enrollment applications
· Work closely with provider to expedite completion of forms and requirements including obtaining signatures, locating required documentations, and other required tasks assigned by the credentialing manager
· Maintain provider enrollment information within the credentialing database
· Ensure that all credentials' files are current and complete pursuant to expiration date of medical license, board certification, professional liability insurance, DEA and other pertinent information as required by Client and Client’s third-party entities (facilities, payers, etc…)
· Process applications for providers for re-credentialing with PGS facilities and/or payers
Requirements
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with physicians
· Maintain elevated levels of organization while being detail oriented
· Capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines
· Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively
· Capable of working independently
Experience:
· Medical Credentialing: 2 years (Required)
· Provider Enrollment: 2 years (Required)
· Payer experience (Required)
· Experience in a multi-specialty setting (Preferred)
Education:
· High school Diploma or equivalent (Required)
