Job Description:
The Patient Care Coordinator is the welcoming face of the practice and provides a range of administrative support to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: welcoming and checking-in patients, ensuring accurate and complete patient charts prior to the appointment, answering phones, confirming appointments, coordinating insurance benefits, collecting payments, scheduling appointments, tidying the office, etc. This team member supports all daily responsibilities of the front office to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated competence in independently applying judgment and discretion in handling day to day activities.
- Highly reliable and able be present and ready to provide exceptional patient care and customer service on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Desire to have fun and interact with kids and families.
- Working knowledge of Paw Patrol, Avengers, Octonauts, etc. (on the job training is provided.)
- Excellent computer skills including, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to create balloon animals or other awesome side tricks (or the desire to learn such skills).
- High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive, responsible customer service and/or administrative experience, preferably in a medical or dental setting.
- Excellent writing skills. Ability to compose and edit documents.
- Strong interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy with a positive, up-beat attitude.
- Ability to pay a high level of attention to accuracy and details.
- Ability to work overtime or adjust schedule on occasion when required for emergencies or other unusually scheduled events.
- Experience with medical / dental software a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrist to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Brisk walking throughout office to communicate information in a timely manner.
- Sitting or standing for an extended period of time.
- Physical agility to lift 20 pounds to shoulder height.
- Physical agility to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check, educational and employment verification, and reference check, as required.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
