Job Summary:
Execute all sales aspects of assigned accounts, including forecasting and achieving sales goals. Assist with the development of sales strategies, analysis, merchandising, and retail training/support. Grow sales by working closely with accounts’ corporate offices, customer service, marketing, and sales representatives. Execute Coastal sales programs, discounts, rebates, terms, co-op advertising payments, product returns and allowances, etc. Directly manage relationship with assigned OEM, international and domestic customers.
Major Responsibilities:
- Work with Sales, Marketing and Category Management to help achieve the sales goals for assigned accounts.
- Be the primary contact to assigned accounts, organizing and tracking internal resources to deliver on commitments.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts, analysis of KPI’s (budgets, quotas, sales plans, profits), trends, and other reports to advise leadership, managers, and associates.
- Generate and analyze sales reports while reporting any pertinent information on product or sales trends, account changes, or any other information deemed important and share with sales leaders and departments where required.
- Support the design of new displays and planograms for current and new stores. Look at items to discontinue or add to refresh planograms yearly or as required by account. Work with Merchandising to design schematics and content listings for new and current displays and planograms. Distribute all information to sales, order entry and outside reps.
- Assist with store openings, resets, and trade shows as required.
- Execute Coastal sales programs, discounts, rebates, terms, co-op advertising payments, product returns, allowances, etc.
- Manage the SKU level detail of assigned accounts to include planogram changes, discontinued items, new product placement and launch by working with Category Managers, Marketing, Sales leaders and Supply Chain.
- Provide sales function and project leadership to assigned OEM customers.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Requirements including Work Experience and Education:
Skills and knowledge required for this position would generally be acquired with a four-year college degree with an emphasis on sales, marketing, merchandising and other related subjects and at least two years of experience in the field of sales or a minimum of five years’ experience in a related field.
