We are currently looking for an energetic and outgoing candidate to take on the role as Teller. This is an excellent position for an individual that is looking for a professional entry level customer service career. If you are a self-starter, team oriented and a professional individual who enjoys utilizing your creative abilities to promote and expand business, we want you!
Essential Duties include:
- Operates a cash drawer/cash dispensing machine on all types of teller transactions. Verifies completeness of all documentation and enters transaction in terminal.
- Balances cash at established times and balances entries to the system and prepares transmittal of work according to daily procedures. Understands opening and closing procedures and handles all member account inquiries.
- Responsible for meeting individual monthly, referral goals. Utilizes appropriate cross servicing techniques to provide potential/current members information regarding credit union products and services in a professional and courteous manner.
- Typical work schedules will be between the hours of 8AM – 6PM, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays
Required skills:
- Serve as a role model and front-line liaison between members and credit union
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and have a professional appearance and manner
- Provide superior service to our members and create valuable and relevant relationships as their primary financial institution.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency required. One year of cash handling experience, six months of customer service and sales experience preferred.
