Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and order pickers, to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
- Handle heavy lifting and materials with care to prevent damage or injury.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Use RF scanners for accurate inventory management and order fulfillment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation.
- Experience with load unloading procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient inventory tracking.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Proficient in operating cherry pickers and order pickers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent materials handling skills for safe movement of products within the distribution center.

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
