As a People and Culture Business Partner for North America, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of human resources strategies to support the organization’s strategic objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the business to understand their goals, providing sound advice and coaching on both strategic and operational P&C matters and driving positive employee experiences across the employee lifecycle.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with senior leaders and business units to understand their objectives and provide guidance and coaching which focusses on building leadership capability

·        Provide advice and coaching to all departments on all matters across the employee lifecycle relating to their people, performance and development

·        Coach leaders on creating a high-performance culture which includes guidance on setting performance goals, individual development plans and managing performance

·        Support the P&C Director with change management especially in relation to organizational change

·        Oversight and approval of payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment to our people

·        Partner with the business to implement engagement survey action plans

·        Educate and guide managers on compliance with federal and local employment laws and regulations and coach leaders to address any grievances

·        Regularly monitor and report on P&C metrics and KPIs relevant to North America

·        Identify opportunities for HR process improvements and present innovative solutions

·        Manages the mobility processes for NAM (e.g., new and renewal of visas) ensuring a responsive and proactive approach is taken

·        Create connections by maintaining an in-office present of at least 3 times per week

·        Perceived as being a responsive, knowledgeable and trusted partner with whom the business engages with on both a proactive as well as reactive basis

 

Qualifications & Experience:

·        Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field

·        A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in P&C with at least 3 years in a business partnering role

·        Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the US and Canada

·        Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

·        Proven ability to influence and build strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
