As the HHA, you will escort residents to appointments outside the facility as well as assist with other daily care tasks, which include but are not limited to:
- Provide routine individualized care to residents
- Prepping meals alongside the dietary team and feeding residents as needed
- Observing and monitoring residents and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse immediately
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and data of the facility
- Helping residents with daily hygiene and personal care such as bathing or dressing
- Assist residents with the use of equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs
- Clinical responsibilities may be required under the supervision of nursing, such as medication administration
What we're looking for:
- Active HHA Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have a strong comprehension of the English language, which includes reading, writing, and speaking fluently
- Prior experience as an HHA or in the home health or nursing home setting
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed
Salary : $20 - $21
