Our client is a global Investment Firm currently seeking to add a highly motivated Senior Analyst to their growing Legal & Compliance Team. Client has just completed one of their most successful years, and is experience tremendous growth, this is an additional to staff.
This role will provide support to Head of Legal and Compliance, ideal candidate must have prior Private Equity/Asset Management experience either from the corporate side or direct industry experience. Ideal individual must be well versed with entity formation, project management and contract drafting & review, this is a high exposure role, superior communication skills is going to imperative.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide review and drafting support for fund disclosure and reporting documents, working with an assigned attorney and in a document production tool for fund
- Complete complex projects as assigned, including new fund launches
- Coordinate organize and review legal documents: Review fund disclosure and reporting documents
- Manage the closing of private funds, including employee co-investment and carried interest vehicles
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes/resolutions
- Analyze investor information and draft internal findings
- Assist with completion of alternative investment documentation (e.g., subscription agreements, etc.).
- Assist with discovery requests arising from various sources
- Assist with compliance related responsibilities such as onboarding, monitor information flow, KYC, etc.
- Implement new process and procedures, as well as handle special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must have 3 years of transactional paralegal experience at law firm or financial service firm
- ABA approved Paralegal certificate is a plus
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to multi-task and handle competing priorities
