What are the responsibilities and job description for the STEM Program Coordinator position at Code Ninjas of Plymouth?

- Proven work history with teaching/working with children ages 5 and up, and enthusiasm for working with kids.
- Tech savvy – ability to self-learn and figure out . STEM/Coding experience, Minecraft, Roblox, 3D Printing, and other STEM engaging leagues/activities a PLUS!
- Knowledge of team management and leadership.
- Commitment to provide high-quality coding instruction to students.
- Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to reliably commute/relocate to Plymouth or surrounding areas before starting work (Required)
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the classroom (dojo), including scheduling and staffing of instructors (sensei).
- Provide high-quality but fun coding instruction to students and help them develop their skills.
- Mentor and train other instructors (sensei) to ensure that they maintain the center’s curriculum and quality standards.
- Manage student progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Work with the executive team to implement lesson plans and develop programs to ensure that the curriculum is engaging, effective, and up to date.
- Work with others in the leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new students to the center.
- Work in collaboration with the leadership to promote the center by building relationships with schools (public and private), local businesses and the community (event participation).
- Keep up to date with latest trends in coding education and incorporating new technologies and teaching methods into the center's programs.
- Maintain a fun but productive environment for students and instructors.
- Uphold corporate standards with respect to safety, center cleanliness & operational standards.
- Base Supplemental pay and bonus
- 35 hours/week – 7 hour shifts (2:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
