Who Are We?
Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest-growing kids' coding franchise. At our center, kids ages 7-14 learn to code in a fun and engaging way—using our incredible curriculum through designing and building video games, and collaborating with their peers. Kids have a blast and can't wait to come back, while parents love seeing their children gain confidence and valuable skills in coding, math, logic, and problem-solving as they progress from white to black belt.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a Center Manager to join our small, dynamic team of energetic, forward-thinking individuals, all dedicated to a common goal: providing a safe, fun learning environment for children. As Center Manager, you'll be responsible for opening and closing the center, checking in students, and warmly greeting parents and new visitors. You'll also conduct tours, follow up on new leads, assist with scheduling, and help run special events. This role offers growth potential, with opportunities for additional compensation through increased enrollment. A background in coding and strong tech skills are a plus, along with excellent communication abilities! Hours are 3-7:30pm Tues-Friday Sat 10am - 2pm, We offer flexibility in the work schedule. This is a part-time job that is 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Create a positive, safe environment for student growth.
- Work with children and instructors to assess skills, develop individualized plans, and provide feedback to parents.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Keep the center clean and organized.
- Connect with local schools and organizations to explore partnerships and marketing opportunities.
- Manage social media channels and communications.
- Follow up with new leads and run game-building tours.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children ages 7 (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
- Strong customer service skills for engaging with the general public
- Background in teaching, mentoring, tutoring, or childcare
- Ability to reach out to and collaborate with local vendors
- Knowledgeable about coding and technology or quick to learn basic concepts
- Experience with marketing or a desire to learn on the job
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements
- Excellent communication and typing skills
