What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUMMER SEASON CONCESSIONS LEAD position at Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre?
REQUIREMENTS:
- Retail and cash handling experience
- Engaging and outgoing with people
- Ability to train and supervise volunteers
- Works well under short bursts of pressure
- Comfortable using iPad cash register
- Available June 24-27 for training and setup for the season
- Available for all 24 performance days, June-August (listed below)
- 2024 Season - June 27, 28, 29, 30, July 3, 5, 6, 7, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, August 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Cash Handling
- Count and enter the starting cash amount for each register before each performance
- Track tickets and cash for raffle ticket sales
- Execute cash and credit card sales in a fast-paced environment during each performance
- Count and enter ending cash amount for each register after each performance
- Prepare cash report for Business Manager after each performance
b) Volunteer Supervision
- Train new volunteers on policies & processes before each performance
- Give encouragement, supervision, and help to volunteers during each performance
c) Inventory Setup & Tear-down
- Set up and tear down merchandise inventory at noon on Final Dress days for cast - June 27, July 18, August 8
- Set up merchandise and concessions inventory by 5:30 PM (Noon for matinees) before each performance
- Tear down and put away merchandise and concessions inventory after intermission each performance
- Perform physical inventory after each show
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
